Year 5

Year 5 have been looking at farming this term and have been trying to hatch eggs. They also have two new friends in the classroom.

Thank you so much for supporting Red Nose Day! We have had a great time together for a very important charity.

We have begun signing club recently with Harry. The children have been working on British Sign Language and at the moment looking at greetings. What a fantastic start at communicating in another language!  

Initially we encouraged all of our children to learn new spellings which were taken from the year expectations. Please remember Fit for Sport Club applications are in for the club starting next week. Please hand forms to the school office. Year 5 will be given the option to take part this half term.

This is just a small reminder of the fantastic Ben Greenep Winter Run held in recently.  Clearly a good day at the office!  The run is an excellent chance to represent your house and a super opportunity to run together.  #marathonkids  

We have completed our swimming sessions this week. The sessions ended with a fun session and paddle board practice.  What a super distance swimming too.  Congratulations to everyone who took part.

We were very fortunate to have a dry and warm day despite the ground being soft.  The Ben Greenep Winter Run went well with the children representing their house and running for individual medals in each class.  There was a superb atmosphere and the children even asked to  have a little fun run at the end.  […]
