Year 6 London trip – day 1

Year 6 have made the (slightly delayed) trip to London today and have had an amazing first day.  We’ve experienced the hustle and bustle of Marleybone High Street; Selfridge’s at Christmas; taken part in a huge range of scientific experiments, including explosions and a massive Tesla coil at the Science Museum; seen the red carpet and film crews for the fashion awards at The Royal Albert Hall; enjoyed a wonderful medal at Nandos, and delved further in to our class story, The London Eye Mystery.  We are looking forward to an even more exciting day tomorrow at the Houses of Parliament, where we will meet Chris Mason and our local M.P., Tim Farron. We are also hoping our trip on ‘The Eye’ won’t be quite like our book…
