We read the book ‘Lost in the Snow’ where a small bear is lost in the snow. We walked up to our school woods and discovered three bears that had been frozen in ice. The children then set about finding a way to defrost the bears. They choose warm water, tools and salt. We had a brilliant time working together to solve the problem.
