In Nursery we have started our topic all about travel and journeys. We have loved working with wood to make our own cars. We had to hammer in nails, use a screwdriver and saw the wood. Finally we have painted our cars and have added them to our display, they look brilliant.

In Nursery we made thrones, other children joined our class to help us build the thrones. We had some brilliant ideas about how to build a throne “fit for a Queen”! We celebrated the Queen’s 90th Birthday with cake and a drink!

This week we are talking and sharing our new vision for our school.  We will be distributing this to all of our parents this week.  It encompasses our new values which have been agreed through consultaiton with all of the school family. vision statement  

Nursery had a brilliant morning with YR building dens in the woods, we had to work out how to fix our tarpaulins to the trees and then we built pretend fires and enjoyed our snack sitting in our dens. It was fantastic!

We had a brilliant gardening morning with our parents and Grandparents; we planted vegetables and flowers, we all planted a sunflower, we filled tights with compost and grass seed to make “grass heads” and finally we all shared a drink and some cake!
