Learning about our circulatory system

Believe it or not, this is a playground sized model of our body!

We have been finding out about how blood moves around the body, delivering nutrients and oxygen to different organs before returning to the heart and lungs.  By moving around the body in the same way our blood does, we have learnt what an important, complicated and special organ our heart is and just how amazing our bodies are.  I’m not saying we found it difficult, but Katie was rather worried about whether our particular body would have survived the 10 minutes we were in charge…
