Balance, stretch, swing, roll, climb, jump …

In Nursery, we access our beautiful outdoor areas each day.  We have our own outdoor area, infant playground, field, garden area and forest area.

Our physical development curriculum provides children with opportunities to be active and interactive; and to develop their co-ordination, control and movement.

Here we were using all our muscles to rub out leaf shapes with the giant rollers, stand on the wobble boards, follow lines with the pattern makers and climb over the cargo net.  This was developing our gross and fine motor skills.
